At Coastal Creations, we offer you the opportunity to walk in daily during regular business hours and utilize our craft tables and craft cart full of stencils, templates, glue, crayons, colored pencils, paint, paint brushes and more.
You are welcome to bring in your own beverages and snacks to enjoy for an afternoon of painting at our craft table.
Children ages 15 & younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note, this is a self-guided paint option. If you are looking for a guided paint class, please check our other workshops available on our website.
8/13, 6 p.m. - Beach Bird Mini Shadowboxes
Seat: $35.

Join us at Coastal Creations- 5401 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL.
◦ Come join Michelle of Coastal Creations as we transform 2 unfinished wood 5x5 shadowboxes into fun art pieces using acrylic, rocks, paints, shells, wine, corks, twine, glue and many more items to choose from to adorn your own personalized little art pieces.
We will have fun brainstorming ideas or just copying the examples. The creativity is up to you!
◦ All supplies will be provided to create your take-home art pieces. If you have small items that you would like to bring in and incorporate into your own art piece or share with others in the group, please feel free to bring them in. Otherwise, just bring yourself! Let’s get crafty!
◦ You are welcome to bring an apron to wear or comfy clothing you don’t mind getting art products on. Bring a cozy pillow for your seat if you’d like for your seat. Make yourself comfy & let’s get crafty!
◦ You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks (including wine, of course) to enjoy.

8/14, 6 p.m. - Resin Seascape
This class is so much fun!! Create your own beach while learning all the tricks of working with Resin. I'll be showing you how to prepare your canvas to paint with acrylic paint, pour resin, how to mix it and pour and eliminate all the air bubbles. We will be creating a seascape. I will provide all the materials, 11"x14" canvas, resin, paints and seashells to compliment your painting. Of course living in Florida you may want to bring your own special shells to display on your piece in which case you are more than welcome to bring some along.
This class only holds 8 seats so please use the ticket link to reserve your seat. Your seat will NOT be Guaranteed if it isn't paid in advance. You may get a full refund for the class with a 48 hour notice if you cant make it. Within 48 hrs of the class, rescheduling for a future class will be offered to you. Without a call or showing up, no refund or rescheduling will apply.
Cost is $65. Includes all materials needed. A glass of wine and bagged snack will be offered.
****Keep in mind that your piece will need to remain overnight to give it a chance to dry before moving the piece. **** The resin we will be using is Free of BPA and VOC's therefore respirators will not be required but if you feel better wearing a face mask you are welcome to bring one along.

8/16, 12-2 p.m. - Jewelry Basics Workshop
Seat: $50
RSVP required no later than 8/15.
Join Jackie & Jean of Baubles, Baskets & Blooms for a basic class in jewelry making.
You will be creating a personalized jewelry set:
1 Beaded elastic bracelet or anklet made with CRAFTWORLD DesignB high quality beads
1 Set of high quality beaded earrings with optional charms
1 Necklace using stainless steel chain with your very own charm creation or you can choose from many charm options.
Kits and tools will be provided to create your jewelry set.
All supplies will be provided. Just bring yourself! Please be sure to bring an apron to wear or comfy clothing you don’t mind getting art products on.

8/20, 6 p.m. - Beach Cottage Bird House
Seat: $45
Seating is limited. RSVP required.
◦ Come join Michelle of Coastal Creations as she walks you through painting & brainstorming ideas for your own personalized 8.5” tall beachy birdhouse.
We will use acrylic paints, glue, sand, shells & other embellishments to personalize your cute little beach house bird house.
◦ All supplies & guided instruction will be provided.
◦ Please be sure to bring an apron to wear or comfy clothing you don’t mind getting art products on.
◦ Please keep in mind these art piece may not be dry at the end of this event & may be wet when you take them home. Please be prepared for travel by having an old towel or something to place it on a shoe/cardboard box to put it in.

Special Double Header Event!
Beverages and snacks will be provided to enjoy during our meet and greet with local author, Chris Coad Taylor.
Part 1-Meet and Chat with local author Chris Coad Taylor. Hear about her incredible mystery novels and what inspires her writing. She will sign your chosen copy of her series that are all based in the Ybor City area of Tampa setting. In fact, Chris tells us inspired by actual events.
Part 2- workshop- As the series of mysteries is in the setting of Tampa, we felt it appropriate to paint a colorful rooster in our workshop. You will create your own piece of art using acrylic paint on canvas guided by Michelle of Coastal Creations
