About the Owner:

For over 25 years, Michelle was a work-at-home Mom.  While she had always been creative in life, she quickly learned that drawing, painting and crafting were a nice way to wind down from the day.  

For several years, Michelle enjoyed creating a variety of art pieces.  From themed birthday parties for her kids to finding items to repurpose or reimagine, the creative brain never stopped. 

In August of 2021, Michelle lost her best cheerleader in life, her amazing, always hard-working and supportive Mom. A few months later, after a lot of soul-searching and family engagement, Michelle decided to take a leap of faith. In January of 2022, the door to Coastal Creations officially opened.  A small space filled with positive vibes and inspiration. This decision would allow local Tampa Bay creatives with the same passion for arts and crafts an opportunity to showcase their works for sale in her art studio. Michelle is currently the proud cheerleader of several wonderful creative people, all local Tampa Bay creatives.

Knowing the personal positive effects of spending time creating arts and crafts, Michelle quickly realized that arts and crafts workshops would soon become something that would stay a part of Coastal Creations Studio and Gift Shop. What a wonderful opportunity to reach others and allow them a chance to see how relaxing unplugging from the outside world can be.  Having the ability to allow others a place with an opportunity to find their inner creative has been quite rewarding.
